Free Spirit Network Art Exhibition In England, United Kingdom

Taskin Butt took part in the first 'Free Spirit Network' Creative Expression Event at THE FORUM in Norwich, England on 13 September 2014, a non for profit and debut event showcasing multiple forms of creative expression including art, poetry, dance and music in support of SOET Uganda, an orphanage for children with HIV and AIDS.

There was a wide array of live dance performances, poetry recitations, music, art workshops along with the creative art exhibition including paintings, sculpture and mixed media. Some of her new unique bright, colourful abstract art, including her painting 'Dreaming with Feet' were on display including some poetry on personal identity and freedom of expression .......

About Dreaming with Feet, which is an abstract painting of a dancer, she says that the painting it is one of her most favourite paintings, which highlights the joys of freedom of expression and learning to use the language of the soul to express ourselves freely with our whole self for the person we are which brings us to achieve a sense of 'elevated harmony and peace' that she says is like 'learning to dance to the rhythm of life'.
