Flint Hills Of Kansas

I love the Flint Hills here in Kansas. It is trip back into time. There are places that hidden away from the world that we cannot get to with our a guide. Then there is the Flint Hills alive and full of life. There are times driving through here you have to stop, just look at the hill and how they have not change in hundreds of year. You can almost see large herds of buffalo come over the hill and the native american on horse back trying for another change at meat and fur. The Indian use to burn grass so new greener grass would grow then buffalo would return. When the European came here they saw grass for cattle. Some came by trains still others was raised here. No more trains of cattle and few ranches raising cattle but the hill and grass is still here.
