75 Artists Stanislaus Artist Open Studio April 23 And 24

Stanislaus Artist Open Studio Tour weekend is April 23 and 24, 2016. 75 artists participating in studios in various locations in Stanislaus County, primarily in Modesto, Turlock and Oakdale. Entry to the event is via purchase of a $10 map booklet, with students 18 and under in FREE with a map holder. The Tour offers an opportunity to meet local and regional artists in their studios where they create their work, purchase original art, view portfolios and art demonstrations by the participating artists. Tour will also include the Mistlin Gallery in Modesto, Carnegie Arts Center and CSU Stanislaus Main Street Gallery in Turlock. Hours are 10 to 6 pm, Saturday April 23, and noon to 5 pm Sunday April 24. A preview showing is planned at the Gallo Performing Arts Center, schedule to be confirmed.
Maps go on sale March 1, and available for purchase from participating artists, The Mistlin Gallery, Modesto, Oakdale Chamber of Commerce, Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock, and the Modesto Convention and Visitors Bureau.
