A cycle of motherhood stands before us. All children reach for the protection and nurturing of the eager young mother, emerging with hope, yearning toward the natural order of things. She is the hope, the recipient of the torch passed on by the experienced mother, the introspective stature of experience, life's central foreground role model. Standing to the left, is the uncertain one, she who lacks confidence, but remains guided by the strength of her predecessor.
"It will be O.K...I know," Mother contemplates. "Just give it more time."
