This early 20th century US Aviation History print features a glider in flight at the beach town of Kitty Hawk in North Carolina. The Wright Brothers chose Kitty Hawk for conducting their glider experiments owing to frequent winds and soft sandy surfaces that rendered the area safe and enabled them to experiment for three years leading up to the first powered flight.
