(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) Coronado Island lies just across the bay from beautiful downtown San Diego in sunny southern California. Although much of this small island is occupied by the United States Navy and Marine Corps, the downtown area is very scenic and filled with art deco style buildings, the famous Hotel del Coronado and this beautiful sidewalk clock. I enjoyed my leisurely walk there, however I don't believe I will ever have enough... Time In Coronado.
I created this image from my original color photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures and painterly-style effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.
