(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) When traveling, the weather may not always cooperate and when it does, you must use it to your advantage. The famous Thames River has walkways on both sides as it passes by downtown London. I walked and walked enjoying this beautiful day, while searching for that perfect scene. The Houses of Parliament, Victoria Tower's huge clock and 13 ton bell known as Big Ben are recognized all over the world. The uniquely ornate lamp posts and historic gothic towers pointing upwards into white clouds and blue sky, reminded everyone that it was another beautiful day along the ... Thames River In London.

I created this image from my original photograph taken on location by adding digital enhancements, textures and painterly-style effects. These effects and image details will become more visible by clicking inside the green magnifier square as the cursor is placed over the image.
