Some of our favorites viewpoints are reached from the South entrance, others on the west side in the Navajo Reservation. Our favorite view points are, from anywhere along Hermit Road to Hermit Rest, like pima, mariopa, hopi, or views from various areas and Yaki which can only be accessed by bus. But, many never see some of our favorite places, the buses running the routes in the Grand Canyon only go as far as Yaki Point. We like a lot of the viewpoints past there, especially Grandview, Moran, Lapin and Navajo or even many unnamed view points.

Less crowded locations, with fantastic views are Guano, Lapin, Moron, Navajo, and Desert View. Most all of the viewpoints have views of the Colorado river, but some of the best have no view of the river or very restricted one. Maps of the park show some...
