Description
As I continue to explore the posibilities of scratchboard, I decided on this weather formation for my subject matter. Rendered in a strictly black and white format, the mid-range grays were a challenge. This medium is particularly unforgiving, where removing too much of the black-coated surface ruins the piece. Hence, I practice, practice, practice and discover the limitless applications for this medium. Where there are contrasts, there is scratchboard.
