This is a smoker fight (called that because everyone smokes, and there is a large cloud of smoke over the ring). Often people on board of these ships fought to pass the time. Other times they did it to settle an argument. Either way it was entertaining and it drew a large crowd to watch the fight. A simple layout, using ropes and a small area was all that was needed.
