Description
Solitude by Karen Cook - The calm reflections and solitude of the Saco River trail in Bartlett New Hampshire. This creek empties into the Saco River, as it flows through the White Mountains National Forest. Very popular with locals and tourists alike for swimming, tube and canoeing, the Saco River is also popular for sport fishing and for providing the solitude and calm we all need in our lives. Photographed at Attitash Mountain Village in Bartlett New Hampshire.

Serene and lovely..lf so did the snow leave this behind?... what a gorgeous place!
Karen Cook replied:
This was taken last summer in New Hampshire Michele. No, the snow is still here, received more yesterday, if you can believe it. This is a wonderful place to enjoy nature in the White Mountain National Forest.
