Description
It was an early spring day when I started this painting late one afternoon. The run off from the winter snow left the ground quite soggy and there was a chill in the air.This image depicts a grove of scrub oak trees with a large pine tree to the left. Rocks litter the side of the clearing on the right. A tree topped mountain is visible in the distance and an opening to a small cave can just be seen.
