Description
The delicate, tracery-like pattern of the frost on this window pane made me think of a phoenix rising. However, I saw more than one bird; and since, according to mythology, the phoenix is unique, I had to rein in my fancy when it came to a title. I settled on "Rebirth". The design worked nicely centered, so I cropped to a square format and added a fine line to set the icy lines off from the background.

Thank you, William. I actually ended up photographing from the outside in (brrrrr) and had my husband hold up a black cloth behind it for the background. Going the other way wasn't working for me :)
