Description
The owners of this old barn have come and gone and come again, leaving their tire tracks in the snow that fell the night before. This particular scene is located in Sarpy County, Nebraska, but is typical of December anywhere in the Midwest. The late afternoon sun casts a warm glow on the weathered, red siding. It reduces the brightness of the blanket of snow which stretches across the fields into the distance. Another beautiful winter day on the farm is drawing to a close.
