Description
A typical landscape from Northern Quebec, somewhere in the amerindian reserve, north of St. Felicien. I was there IN THE SUMMER of 2005 to fish with some friends but all I fished was a few watercolors and many great photos. This one of the best.

For the beginning I entitled this Tundra landscape...which was an error...it's TAIGA because it has trees, the scrawny fire-trees the Quebequers call "epinettes noirs"...

I've spent some time in northern Quebec /Labrador. You've captured the feeling of the tundra so well.

Thank you (better late than never!) Ramona. It is really another world, up there...
