This is a side view of a zuchinni seedling layered with a textured image representing sun and soil.

Flowers have bloomed, seeds and fruit have been borne, the plants and their produce have matured and new plants have sprouted and grown, for a long , long time. This began before there was such a creature as man on earth, and it will continue after he is gone.

Shirley,you show extraordinary images of such a beautiful "tiny" world that I'm not usually aware of.I so often marvel at the thought that when you cut a seed in half it is empty. Nothing there!! And YET out of no thing comes everything,both at a macro and micro level.What a marvelous mystery! This is so beautiful and I just love looking at it and wondering !! v/f
