"Piratis Pelekys " was inspired by the birds where I live in Port Orange Florida. When I see this great seabird I can't help but feel that this bird has a knowledge that dates back to the prehistoric times, and what a pleasure it would be if we could talk. This bird also must be the pirate of all the birds by the way it walks and hobbles about like it's wearing a heavy long coat that so many proud pirates have worn in the past. He sits alert on top of his post awaiting to take advantage of his share of the "Pirate's Booty" when eyes are away.
