Pink Summer Sunset - Original photographic artwork by Heidi Smith

Along with "Memories Of Last Summer," this image was photographed that same day in early August. I had packed up my camera and tripod and was on my way out of the marina when I had to stop and stare. I set up my tripod quickly and mounted my camera to get this final image of the evening. This was the "properly exposed" image of a bracketed three I hoped to process as an HDR. At the time, I only ended up processing this into a black and white because the colors, although as they truly appeared that late evening, seemed unreal. This image was created using one minimally processed RAW image. We have some crazy-beautiful sunsets along the So Cal coast. I hope you enjoy.
