A guitar sits in the corner of the room on a guitar stand. It's vintage now. It was once new. You loved the color. Such a cool brown. You needed a guitar you could knock around, take to the beach. Your Martin was getting beat up with all the back and forth to Hilton Head Island. So you put this on layaway when you worked at the music store. It took months to buy it. Now it's yours, it's old, and it has a lot of memories. It never worked very great when plugged in, but it was to great to knock around. You wrote a lot of songs on it. You ended up giving the Martin away. That was really stupid. It was kind of like a death. I think it was something else you were trying to get rid of. Oh well, nothing lasts forever, but heaven.
