We hiked the Highline Trail in Glacier National Park the day after snow had blown in and covered the peaks, The wind was so strong it could almost blow one off the trail and it was on and off sleet but it was one of the most gorgeous days I ever remember hiking, an artist's dream. I saw these old tress who stand there in all weather as a metaphor for endurance.
