Description
I created this semi-abstract, impressionistic cloudscape painting from my imagination. It is part of my dream series of cloudscapes, using a very limited palette of Titanium White, Ivory Black, Raw Umber and Ultramarine Blue. I wanted to create a dreamlike, soft atmosphere in this painting. This series is meant to be peaceful and reflective.

Kind of foreboding, with a storm about to sweep in. But still that small piece of light and warmth showing - so we know it will pass. Beautiful work.

I don't know, Roger. Forgive me, but this totally beautiful cloud formation is more like maybe 'bad weather coming up'?? maybe it's just my anticipating the next few days with tests?? This piece I actually love. It talks, Roger.

Ha ha. Thanks Sabina! I stand corrected. I think you’re right. Thanks for the kind comments!
