This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
In the midst of old buildings and narrow streets in Seville, Spain, sits the Metropol Parasol. It is a wooden structure located at La Encarnacion square, in the city's old quarter. It's a bit jarring to come upon after focusing on the traditional architecture of Seville! Dating from 2011, it is 490' X 230', with a height of 85'; it claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. It was controversial in Seville due its appearance, but also the location, delays and cost overruns in. The building is popularly known as Las Setas de la Encarnacion (Incarnacion's mushrooms). Since the 19th century, a market was located in the plaza, housed in a market building. The building was partially torn down in 1948 but the market itself remained until 1973, when the rest of the dilapidated building was finally torn down. The land remained dormant until 1990, when the city...
About Joan Carroll
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
