beautiful Longhorn cow grazing in the countryside
near Moiese Montana.
Montana has "open grazing" laws which permit cattle ranchers
to allow cattle to graze freely. if property owners do not want cattle
on their land, they must fence them out. so it is common to see cattle in the mountains and forests of Montana.
