Description
FAA WATERCOLOR MARK WILL NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
Upon first arriving at Long Beach on the south shore of Long Island on this beautiful 68 degree day the weather was perfect and what I had come to photograph was right in front of me as the waves at Long Beach were rising to heights of 10 feet and crashing down on the surf. When I first got there the tide was just beginning to come in so in this image I got as close as I could to the jetty and began taking photos using the seagulls sitting peacefully on the jetty with the waves climbing and crashing down on the surf in the background. Within about 15 minutes these jetties would be half covered up as the waves would continue getting stronger.
