While visiting the Elephant Butte State Park in New Mexico in early January, 2013, while driving the dirt roads around the dry lake area we found a stand of trees with white bark, no leaves, and surrounded with the colorful weeds of the winter. I fell in love with the whole scene, and have spent two trips to the area to photography them. To view my series of those images both in color and black and white for a selection to combine for several images to hang together; the series can be viewed in a special gallery titled WINTER TREES.
