Late one evening i was walking through the forest when the light was filtering through the trees and shining on a close up tree. i just thought that was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen so tried to capture that light and the feeling i got from that wonderful experience.

Congratulations on your 2nd place in the landscape contest! This lovely piece brings to mind the forest where Snow White was rescued by the Seven Dwarfs, with the mood of foreboding but with the "promise" of the light filtering through. (I was always a fan of fairy tales!)
