Artist's Description
Rhythm and blues: In the mid 60's a radio station in Kingston began brodcasting live blues performances from the Prince George Hotel. That was where I first heard Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee and I was hooked on blues from that point on. Every Friday we would try to get in to hear groups such as Downchild, Powder Blues, and Whisky Howl but when it was rumored that Belushie and Akroyd might show up you couldn't get near the place.
