It is evening and the girl seated among lavish cushions is getting ready to meet with her lover. Her jewelry box is half opened, spilling out its contents for us to see. She is not wearing any jewelry yet, so her dress is heavily bejeweled. She looks like an oriental princess or a queen, so I am calling her a Rani in the title. The title in French means The Rani's rendezvous. (the queen's meeting). This is an original oil painting completed on canvas.
