The Porsche logo is not in the middle of the cover...I have always been proud to show my previous Porsche phone covers ...this one looks like a mistake...can you fix it?

Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Materials Used: 140lb Watercolor paper, gloss medium, stencil resist background, found papers from, old dictionary pages, painted drawing paper, workstation paper with printed lines, gestural marks with graphite pencil and sealed with a UV satin Varnish.
Meaning behind the art: I came to the studio and started with the seafoam green color and a gloss resist. Let it dry and dug into my scrap box. Really not sure what I was going to do pushing back some papers with acrylic at first and completely covering over others because I just didn’t like them. Gestural marks in the background were made with a feather tool which in the moment I really enjoyed. We had a grazing kind of a food day as family came over and we spent the day visiting. We watched out granddaughter and enjoyed her fully. Hence the goldfish for finger foods and the # Hash Tag for Family Fun.
Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfathers farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. Shes continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
