This is the original blockhouses located in the southwest corner of Ft. Simcoe. It was one of four located at each corner. The fort was constructed in 1856 on what is now the Yakama Indian Reservation near the town of White Swan, Washington. The fort was abandoned in 1858, having never been the site of any military action.
