Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
This beautiful acrylic painting shows the Cape Town Waterfront and Table Mountain in the distance. The sailboat with the orange sails is the "Spirit of Victoria" and the one with the white sails is the "Esperance." Both are favorites of tourists for sunset cruises. In the distance is the modern city of Cape Town, South Africa.
Beautifully detailed, the painting is almost three dimensional and the ripples in the water seem to create the sound and feeling of being on the dock of this historic site which dates back to the late 1600's.
The original is gallery framed but can easily be dismantled and rolled in a heavy cardboard tube for safe and reasonable international shipment (about $30.00).

It's perfect how the two sets of sails frame the central yellow building, and then the yellow building is echoed in the left back ground. I also enjoy that you have painted the same Table Mountain scene under so many lighting situations. Beautiful, all of them! Vote/l/f
