Description
What looks like a mere rotting log floating in the pond is home to so many life forms, all interdependant on each other in some way. The only thing missing is the frog and turtle but I am sure they were lurking about nearby. This is another favorite spot of mine which is being threatened by mega limestone quarry operations along the Niagara escarpment. Let's hope that never happens!!
