This starling was out with the fledglings showing them where the good restaurants is. We love feeding the birds although these starlings could eat anyone out of house and home. They aren't called Common Starlings for nothing. This one was mid shake when I clicked the shutter, showing off all the feathers in their colourful glory.

Fabulous capture of the beautiful feathers of this starling, Terri! I love to feed the birds also! But starlings when they come in packs are so boisterous and noisy and seem to devour the food within minutes! Love watching them though! :-) L/F

Thank you Hazel. Yes, we 'fence' food in the bird table so the flocks of starlings can't get to it. The only way the little birds get a chance.
