Canyon Beyond The Trees

Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Walking along the paved trails between famous viewpoints, at Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, are often very crowded, and can reward one with wonderful views in relative solitude. We often noticed, that people walking between the main viewpoints, rarely stopped to take notice of scenes like we see here. They generally are busy talking or on their devices.
To our left, is a rugged gnarley Cliffrose Tree, and to the right a Pinyon Pine tree, and Pygmy Pines. These trees, near Mohave Point, frame a gorgeous view of Zoroaster and Brahma Temples in the distance. Kaibab Limestone rocks, form the edge of the cliffs, and a place to sit and take it all in.
My love for seeing the "Canyon Beyond The Trees," motivated this painting.

Those trees are just gorgeous, Jerry. They just draw you in to the amazing vistas beyond. The detail is just exquisite in this lovely work of art. L/F Featured in American Desert Southwest.

I love the patterns the clumps of pine needles make, and it's really appealing that you have made them slightly stylized. Another beauty of a painting! like/f
Jerry Bokowski replied:
This showed that an artist can not copy a reference photo exactly. So an artist must see and paint through dark shadows. Thank you very much, Anne!

~ Two things are missing here, dear Jerry !!! One East Blonde and one West Blond behind the trees :
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Ahhh Yes, Eva. TWO blonds to share and enJOY a place like this would be a dream come true! Wait a minute, it DID come true already or was I just dreaming? I remember the look on your face when you first looked at it...a priceless moment! Thank you so much for your visit and comments!

An outstanding painting and view of the Grand Canyon, Jerry! Sure like how the trees frame it all..!! F&L!!

It is such a glorious painting of a favorite of mine, viewing the Grand Canyon through the trees. I love capturing it that way, as you know. It's like looking into a secret world. I am especially fond of trees, and you have brought out all their wondrous, rugged beauty, against a gorgeous sky, creating such a lovely frame around Grand Canyon's beauty. It's truly "mind-blowing Mojave Point." LF
Jerry Bokowski replied:
You captured this amazing image, Janet. It was a pleasure painting it. The third one from your efforts. Thank you so much!
