Description
For some time I have been exploring the concept of using the light and energy passing through the lens of my camera to "paint" an image. I had a vision, but was blind to it until I developed a method to add time and motion to the equation. "Breakthrough" is a product of this quest and technique. It transforms architectural features such as pillars and beams into fantastic shapes, scenes and apparitions such as "Breakthrough", quite impossible to perceive with the human eye.
.............................................................................
"Breakthrough" is created solely by a photographic technique relying on the focused light and energy of a single exposure in the camera to offer a different visual reality... A reality of light through time and motion.
..........................................................
"Breakthrough" is only being issued as a limited edition print, with a total of 50 copies to be produced. If you desire a signed certificate of authenticity when you purchase this Douglas Taylor Fine Art Print of "Breakthrough", please contact the artist via e-mail at: douglas@pricklypearadise.com
..............................................................
Signed, numbered and authenticated prints may be obtained directly from the artist as well. This is the first public exhibition "Breakthrough". It is a full frame, 2:3 ratio format image, and is featured in my Creative Photography - "Bending the Beam" gallery.
