Description
Soft pastels on museum-quality wooden board, 18" x 24" x 1/8". The original (and some print types) requires framing under glass. Vivid golden foiage contrasts with icy-cold colours of snow and tree trunks in this autumn landscape inspired by the Chicago Botanic Garden's Spider Island, Illinois. The dark complex of patterns of bare branches and markings on the bark weave a web that ties the whole composition together.
