Description
This is an image of an original pastel painting/drawing on archival (museum quality) wood board, from my American Landscapes series. This landscape painting depicts the change of autumn colour of a maple tree forest in an Illinois forest preserve by the Des Plaines River. It was an overcast day, but as I reached this spot along my walk, the sun came out and made a lovely burst of colour, especially lighting up the yellow tree (center left). The beginning of fall colour is pretty, with green still remaining amongst the yellows, golds and pinks.
Please note: the FAA watermark does not appear on the purchased print.
