Description
In Helotes, TX, my grandparents' neighbors had a Sebright rooster named Benny, who loved visiting my grandparents home more than staying at his own. Feeding him would make him your best buddy. He had a lot of personality, and was rather fond of me in his own way--so much so that I could get in close with my camera and photograph him without him flying away or attacking. After capturing this visage I just had to immortalize it on canvas. What a face, eh?

Thank you, Gerri! He was a VERY expressive fellow. I've always wanted to do a couple of more paintings of him.
