A mating pair of swans glide peacefully on a placid pond all their own as the fall colors of autumn foliage create a mirror-like reflection. The two were raising young who were safely ensconced in a large nest nearby. It's amazing the things you can find when out exploring on a random backroad and I appreciated the opportunity to quietly observe these graceful creatures as they went about their evening.
