Description
The historic Fidler's Mill, located in rural West Virginia, far off the beaten track, stands sentinel over the Little Kanawha River on crisp fall afternoon. The mill's reflection brings back memories of the historic building's storied past of producijng flour and meal, and both the mill and its machinery are still in excellent condition today.
The mill once provided dual services for grinding grain and carding wool. Fidlers Mill Street View - Arlington, West Virginia While many of these historic structures have vanished during the past century, Fidler’s Mill and its machinery remain in excellent condition. Metal gears, wooden chutes, hoppers, and leather belts still bear patent dates of 1779 through the late 1800s.

A gorgeous autumn mill image! I love those old mills and photograph them whenever I can do so. Congrats on your many features of this fine image, Steve!
