This is an image of a beautiful Australian bush orchid that I already have images of in my FAA portfolio. I've used the original image and with a digital medium created a photo-painting effect to intensify the colour of this delightful blossom.
This photograph was taken from an orchid that I have growing on my balcony. It was given to me as a gift by a dear friend. It continuously surprises me how it continues to thrive on my balcony, where it can get extremely hot in summer and very cold in winter.

Gorgeous Leanne! This is Dendrobium kingianum, Mine was a gift too, and it grows outdoors for me in San Francisco. I have experimented with divisions and it seems to be quite adaptable, growing in cool shade or warm sun with cold, though not freezing winters.
