Hmm, well, it is how I felt at the time. I was in my thirties, which is when I think someone who has been raised in a good home and is unfamiliar with it, and goes out on their own, starts to fully realize the truth of evil around them. Perhaps they start to confront it. Perhaps they become a sort of gargoyle themselves to attempt to scare it away. That is what this about. I thought of myself as a warrior at the time. Now, I understand the battle very differently, and I have learned to resist the temptation to engage with evil. The best way to chase away the demons is to do good. Make a beautiful home, fill it with love, fill it with light and prayer. Love starts at home.
