The human touch merging with technology to create new forms of art

I question the future of art as new technology such as advanced touch screens and digital editing and drawing software have advanced to areas where art is strongly influenced by these new forms of media.

How does the art world adjust to this with the traditionalists favouring canvas etc. as the appropriate medium for art while art has always been about mirroring nature. Our modern nature and world includes a complexity of media.

In this modern age with so much technology at our disposal, it is only natural for art to expand into new areas and become influenced by the possibilities avalible through the use of modern technological hardware and software.
