First Friday Artwalk Contest Result

Just before driving to St. Louis for the night, we attended the opening of the First Friday Art Walk's Anniversary Contest Show. Four of my photos were on display, part of a very impressive selection of original paintings, drawings, sculptures, and other works of art. I was pretty tickled to discover that this Detroit photo was awarded an honorable mention. More importantly, we met some superbly interesting and helpful people and are excited about participating in Springfield's art scene in the future.
