Meet my two tiny distractions

October and November were supposed to be filled with fall foliage expeditions, but then we met these two. Chewy, who is very aptly named, is the one on the left, and his sweet brother Kieran is on the right. These two boys are Havanese/Shih Tzu mixes that we were blessed to receive from a local rescue group. In the eight weeks we have had them, they have traveled nearly 5,000 miles with us and can now check nine states off their list of places to visit. They have brought new life to our quiet home and enriched our lives immensely. We are smitten! The photo is of the boys on the dog beach at Ft. Desoto Park near St. Pete Beach, Florida. They were thoroughly enjoying being off leash and appointed themselves the beach clean-up crew. Expect lots of puppy pictures in the future.
