He Loves me, He Loves me Not

I've asked myself that question many times
I've given my heart up to any signs
What was once so clear now so hazy
I catch myself leaving it up to the innocent petals of a daisy
So intiviting and peaceful in texture
Left behind battered and torn under the pressure
They provide no truth, no uderstanding
No answer for this heart so demanding
No petal offers happiness
I know it is meaningless
For a few moments I have hope
Until the decision is made and now I cope
Sometimes it is easier to hide than to face
Especially when love is the case
When this is all I have left in the end
A daisy will bring hope but will not mend
