Naked Wines Promotion Still In Effect?

I got one a few days ago but you have to purchase $160 worth before you get the $100 credit. I'll pass, thanks.

It's a "wine of the month" thing as I recall. Not a bad deal if you just do the one time purchase, but yea, you have to front some money first.

I used the $100 credit and it was a major pain in the butt. You DO have to spend $160.00 to get the credit, which is OK with me because I'm a major wino. But the site is very difficult to use and the wine availability is slim. After you finally manage to get to the check out and give them all of your credit card information, you are informed that their are 4925 people in front of you and you will have to wait approximately 60 days for your order to be fulfilled.

It's a challenge at best.

They ran a similar "offer" in UK about three years ago which I signed up for.

About four months down the line I noticed that they had been taking an amount from my bank account every month. When I queried with them they said that by signing for their special offer that is what I had agreed to. It's probably there in the small print, but not so you would notice. I asked for a refund but they said I could only spend the account balance on wine. Beware.

You do not have to wait for FAA to do a promotion with Naked Wine. You can contact them direct and they will work with you as an individual. Not sure you can totally integrate it it with your AW but you can promote it and have the buyers contact you direct for their certs.

I did it a few years back. I was just okay. But a lot of people did tell me it was a pain in the backside so I stopped doing it. I never promted it when FAA did it but the buyers still got it if they bought from me.

I just received one as well. Wondering if it was a Phishing scam (or something) I decided to see what others were saying about it. Great info here everyone... and from another post. Thanks to all, I'll pass. If anyone wants mine let me know!

Every time I purchase something I get the Naked Wine notice but you do have to purchase over 160.00 worth to get it and it does me no good here in Ontario!
