Do you say a painting is complete,

1. When all detailed features are placed and indentified

2. When you can not add more features

i know the image is done when its done. there are no rules. you just know it because your the artist and know when to stop.

I'm not sure what you mean but, to go with what I understood....I have sold a background. I did it and showed it as a work in progress and someone bought it as it was.

Thats what i mean, how were you able to title it
