More Or Less Galleries

Is it better to have more or less galleries? For example, I live in the Charleston SC area and group all images from Folly Beach, the Isle of Palms, and Sullivan's Island under the "Charleston Coast" gallery. Would it be better to have a gallery for each place instead?

it depends on how many images and themes you have. it will be very confusing to break up one location into a many galleries. if you travel around, keep the states in their own galleries. if you specialize and all your images are from that one location then divide it up. just don't get into the sorting classification that puts only 4 images into a gallery.
