Invalid Discount Code

Is it because you were buying from yourself and the discount would not be applied to you?

Dorothy, I thought of that so I signed out and purchased at a guest...still the same error.

Is it your image (yes I know but it has been known for people to put on a code then try and use it with someone else's art 'sigh)
Check the code dates
If copying and pasting make sure you left no space at either end

Lol, yes my image, no spaces at either end, dates correct. Here's the info from the code:

ZLEXTE 50.00% Unlimited 10/07/2015 12/07/2015

I've tried it logged in and logged out, still no luck.

It's working fine...just tested it

So you must not be able to get a discount from yourself even if logged out. I guess that makes sense. Glad to know it's working, though. Thanks, Abbie :)
